Key messages for Austrian Businesses are in

 

To start the final day of BOLD UnConference 2024, we have asked the 10 focus groups to come up with key advice to Austrian businesses.

 

Naturally, we will have a close look on all of the results of the past days, dissimenating the insights gained to a wide range of entrepreneurs.

 

But for now, let’s have a short look at what the BOLD Minds had to say.

 

Topic #1: Education

Team Education urged Austria to adopt a human-centered approach, focusing on the soul rather than technology. They promoted curiosity, individual learning, and breaking conventions. Local actions and tailored AI use were highlighted as crucial.

 

Topic #2: Mobility

Team Mobility encouraged Austria to think big and collaborate globally. They suggested using the country’s scenery to attract partners, exploring beyond borders, and adapting to new fields for future prosperity.

 

Topic #3: Health

Team Health called for improving Austria’s health system through diversity, health fellowships, and innovation. They emphasized better scientific communication, closing the gender research gap, and enhancing access to solutions.

 

Topic #4: Energy

Team Energy urged Austria to act on a global scale, accelerating renewable energy adoption. They emphasized that now is the time for significant change.

 

Topic #5: Carbon Neutrality

Team Carbon Neutrality advocated for open data sharing, fostering competition and collaboration, holistic thinking, and respecting nature. They promoted plant-based diets, investing in children’s futures, and embracing open-source principles.

 

Topic #6: Financial Well-Being

Team Financial Well-Being called for better financial literacy and education. They urged Austria to become a gateway for Eastern Europe, expand the monetary union, and promote financial inclusion for marginalized communities.

 

Topic #7: Manufacturing

Team Manufacturing encouraged Austria to experiment with innovative ideas and data-sharing. They recommended learning from successful case studies, training both apprentices and AI, and maintaining a human-centered approach.

 

Topic #8: Food

Team Food urged Austria to adopt a global perspective while supporting local producers. They advocated for engaging with global food markets, promoting sustainable eating, reducing meat consumption, and celebrating local traditions.

 

Topic #9: Sustainability

Team Sustainability emphasized incorporating sustainability from the design stage, inspiring rather than preaching, avoiding emissions, ensuring circular practices, and connecting international skills. They called for bold, human, and compassionate actions.

 

Topic #10: Digitalization

Team Digitalization encouraged Austria to embrace digital literacy for all ages, learn from Estonia, simplify and monetize digital services, and ensure digital access for everyone. Their message: digital for all!
