Insights in Motion
We are en route to Graz, the capital of Styria. In true BOLD fashion, we are using this time to engage in discussions with selected BOLD Minds, gaining insights while enjoying the increasingly mountainous vistas of the region.
Just now, Nitin Gaur, Founder and Managing Director of Portal Asset Management and Co-Founder LedgerLink, shared his thoughts on the BOLD journey so far.
Here Come Three Quickfire Questions!
What have you been working on in your group since the start of the BOLD UnConference?
We are working on financial well-being as a group, addressing societal elements on an international scale rather than just individual financial elements.
Financial well-being intersects with everything we do, including healthcare, professional industries, manufacturing, and governments.
We are designing a system that promotes not just humanitarian access but also a policy framework ensuring that financial systems support other essential subsystems sustainably.
What were some of the problems local businesses discussed with you?
It was interesting to talk about capital formation, which is crucial for making capital available for new startups and ideas.
The challenge is ensuring sustainable finance to fund these projects and ensure their longevity.
These challenges are not unique to Austria but are global issues because many of these models need to be updated. There are always contextual elements to these projects.
What do you think we can learn from your experiences globally?
Sharing and exchanging ideas is crucial. You learn every time you travel and interact with local businesses.
While global problems like fundraising are common, each region has its own context. Sharing best practices and understanding the local context helps implement effective solutions.
